Just enter one of the following: the business name, the product or type of service that you are
searching for along with a address, city and/or state.

| What should I do if there are too many results? |
|
Try narrowing your search with more specific search terms. As an example instead of searching for
an Attorney try searching for a Personal Injury Attorney.

| What should I do if I can't find what I'm looking for? |
|
First, double check the spelling of your search terms. Enter spaces between words
(e.g. use "women fitness clubs" not "womensfitnessclubs"), try synonyms of the
keywords, and leave out special characters.

| How do I search for a Person? |
|
Just click on People Search and enter the first and last name of the person who you are searching
for. You can narrow the results by listing the City and State of residence.

| Why is the Haines Yellow Pages allowed to use the walking fingers logo? |

The Haines Yellow Pages is a registered member of both the Association of Directory Publishers and the Yellow Pages
Association. As a registered member, the Haines Yellow Pages is permitted to use the Yellow Pages Association logo,
the industry's "Seal of Approval".
Contrary to popular belief, the name "Yellow Pages" and the "walking fingers" logo are not
owned by any single phone company or corporation. They are in fact general terms and icons
available to directory publishers in the industry. They are not protected by any federal
trademark registrations or copyright laws.

| How do I know if a Yellow Pages solicitation is legitimate? |
We are glad you asked. An authentic solicitation may or may not display the Yellow Pages name and/or the traditional walking
fingers logo.
Here are the steps you should take to confirm you are dealing with an authentic Yellow Pages publisher:
- Investigate the company and its products before responding
- Visit the web site provided on the solicitation and search for your company
- Ask the publisher for information about its traffic
- Verify the publisher is a member of the local Better Business Bureau
- Verify the publisher is a member of either the Yellow Pages Association or Association of Directory Publishers

| I clicked "Center on Map" and all but one of the map icons disappeared, how do I get them back? |

In order to help you more easily see the business you selected with "Center on Map" all other
map icons are removed. To make the other icons appear simply click anywhere in the map area
or resubmit your search.
